Gracious God, when I look at the mountain of papers in front of me, see the length of my to-do list, think about the state of the economy—a feeling of malaise, and sometimes anxiety, washes over me.  With the force of an ocean wave,  my obligations and worries engulf me and pull me away from solid ground.  Come with your mighty wind and blow the wave back to sea that I may rest in the wake you leave behind. I ask this for the sake of your love. Amen.
